Six Lines for Central Park
June 1980 | New York City
Wood | H: 228/579 W: 228/579 D: 4/10 (in/cm)
Disposition: Destroyed

Each of the six lines intersects the other five, and the entire piece incorporates one right angle. The piece was assembled on the shore and set adrift in a Central Park lagoon in the summer of 1980, part of the city’s “Art Across the Park” project. The photograph was taken from an apartment across the street from the park.
