One of the first imperatives of implied authority which maintains a total equilibrium between verbal and visual elements. Neither aspect dominates in this print and neither implies an irony beyond the print. We are not particularly interested in who is telling us what to do and why, but rather are more engaged in the internal meaning within the print. Extending the message beyond the print comes subtlety and gradually to the viewer depending on his motivation.
